Zagreb - The Croatian parliament on Friday adopted two strategies, passed several laws, accepted reports by different agencies and thus concluded the extraordinary session and this year's work.
I wish all of you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we all return to work happily on 15 January next year, Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković told the MPs.
The parliament adopted the Strategy for Digital Croatia until 2032 and the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy until 2030.
It also passed the Animal Health Act. The parliament also amended the Agriculture Act, tasking the Ministry of Agriculture to initiate the development and adoption of general quality standards for agricultural and food products for end users within six months, which have not been covered by national regulations yet.
The ministries of agriculture and the economy were tasked with initiating procedures for interdepartmental harmonisation with the aim of adapting green public procurement procedures, which would ensure a minimum representation of 20% of ecological and integrated agricultural and food products as products from short food supply chains.
