SDP MP Sabina Glasovac appointed Deputy Parliament Speaker

Zagreb - Parliament on Friday unanimously elected Social Democratic Party (SDP) MP Sabina Glasovac as a Deputy Parliament Speaker.

"I congratulate you on your appointment and wish you success and good cooperation with other members of the presidency," Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković told Glasovac, who was recommended for the position to replace her party colleague Rajko Ostojić, who has put his term on hold.  

After Peđa Grbin was elected the SDP's new leader, Ostojić said that he would put his term in Parliament on hold until the end of the local election in 2021, recalling that he did not vote for Grbin in the internal party election.
