Zagreb - Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković on Wednesday congratulated members of the Jewish faith on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
"May the new year 5785 bring you and your families an abundance of joy and togetherness, and grant you all peace and well-being in these challenging times. May you be inscribed for a good year! L'Shanah Tovah Tikateivu!" the message read.
Jandroković extended his wishes to all Jews in Croatia and around the world, hoping that the upcoming holidays of Yom Kippur and Sukkot will bring them "spiritual renewal, personal harmony, and abundant joy with their loved ones, with hope for a calmer future."
