Croatian Parliament Speaker sends best wishes for Hanukkah or the Festival of Lights

Zagreb - Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković on Thursday extended his best wishes to the Jewish faithful for Hanukkah or the Festival of Lights.

Let Hanukkah, a symbol of light, peace, and hope, give you hope for a better tomorrow, prosperity, and joy in your homes and let us overcome the current challenges by our joint strength, Jandroković wrote in his message.

"Hag Hanukkah Sameah!" he said at the end of his congratulatory message.

Hanukkah is observed for eight nights, starting on the 25^th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, and may occur from late November to late December according to the Gregorian calendar.
