Zagreb - Sabor Speaker Gordan Jandroković on Thursday visited Croatian troops in Lithuania and on that occasion pointed out the importance of Croatia's permanent contribution to the collective security of NATO in line with the alliance's deterrence and defence policy.
Ahead of the start of NATO's conference of parliament speakers in Vilnius, Jandroković visited the Pabrade training area to meet the troops of the 3rd Croatian contingent in NATO’s enhanced forward presence battlegroup.
The Sabor president praised the troops' contribution to the alliance's activities against a backdrop of the extremely complex geostrategic circumstances.
The 3rd contingent consists of 180 soldiers who left Croatia for Lithuania this January.
Jandroković thanked them for their committed engagement in Lithuania.
