National Council for Monitoring Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation

Scope of work

The main purpose of the National Council for Monitoring Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation is to act in order to strengthen the supervision over the bodies in charge of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy. In that sense the National Council controls and follows closely the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy, follows the data on corruption provided by bodies in charge of implementation of this Strategy regularly.
The Council refers to the Croatian Parliament twice a year about its work.
National Council has a president, vice president and nine members, parliament deputies, employers’ representatives, union representatives, non-governmental representatives dealing with corruption issues, representatives of the academic society, professionals and media representatives.
Members of the National Council are appointed to this duty to a term that corresponds to the duration of their mandates in the Croatian Parliament.
