Zagreb - The Croatian parliament on Friday unanimously tasked the government with checking the number and authenticity of signatures collected by unions for a referendum on passing a law that would ban the outsourcing of non-core activities in public and state services.
Parliament also adopted three strategies - an industrial strategy until 2020, a strategy on radioactive waste, used-up sources and used-up nuclear fuel, and a strategy on education, science and technology.
MPs adopted a government-sponsored amendment to the education strategy to pay special attention to education in the language and script of national minorities so as to integrate minority education in the general education system. (Hina)
