Zagreb - Croatian Parliament Speaker Josip Leko on Thursday extended his condolences to French National Assembly President Claude Bartolone and Senate President Gerard Larcher on yesterday's terrorist attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris.
In a telegram, Leko said he was deeply concerned about the attack and that he condemned in the strongest terms "this disturbing attack on the right to freedom of expression and freedom of the press, and thereby on the foundations of every democratic state."
Extending his deepest condolences to the two officials, their fellow citizens and the victims' families, Leko was hopeful that the perpetrators would soon be caught and brought to justice. (Hina)
