Croatian Parliament organised Doors Open Day

Zagreb - The Croatian Parliament organised Doors Open Day on Sunday on the occasion of Independence Day, observed on October 8.

Citizens were welcomed by members of Parliament and Parliament Speaker Josip Leko, who said that he too was in favour of increasing public influence on government.

Citizens expressed their concerns about various issues, such as the planned lease of the motorways, and called for the introduction of preferential voting.

More than 1,600 citizens visited the Parliament building on previous two Doors Open Day events.
