Zagreb - Parliament will begin its autumn session on 15 September, Speaker Gordan Jandroković said on Monday after a meeting of parliament's Presidency.
Parliament will sit until 12 November, then take a break on the occasion of Vukovar and Škabrnja Victims' Remembrance Day, resuming the session on the 24th until 15 December, or longer if necessary, Jandroković told reporters.
There are more than 120 items on the agenda but more are expected to be added, he said.
COVID-19 rules in the chamber will remain in force, with MPs obliged to wear masks while sitting and removing them when taking the floor or speaking from their seats, Jandroković added.
As for the appointment of a new Supreme Court president, he said the ruling majority would state its opinion after the court's General Convention made its explanation public and after a hearing at the parliamentary justice committee.
Jandroković said President Zoran Milanović had announced whom he would recommend for the post, so discussing other candidates would not be possible.
