Sabor starts spring session on Wednesday

Zagreb - After a month-long recess the Croatian Parliament will convene for its 10th session on Wednesday which will run through mid-March and longer if need be.

As usual, Question Time ushers in a new session. Apart from Question Time, there are more than 160 items on the agenda for this new session, which means lawmakers have two months of intensive work ahead of them.

The Sabor is expected to debate the Prime Minister's report on meetings of the European Council in 2021 and this is expected to be on the agenda immediately after Question Time while on Thursday the national legislature is expected to debate a package of final bills on social welfare, and a final bill on consumer protection is scheduled for Friday.
