Zagreb - Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković on Tuesday received Finnish President Sauli Niinisto for talks on Croatia-Finland relations, preparations for presidency over the Council of the European Union, the EU's future and security challenges in Europe.
Speaking of bilateral relations, the two officials agreed they were good and friendly and that cooperation was intensifying at all levels, parliament said in a press release, adding that then Finnish Parliament Speaker Maria Lohela's visit to Croatia in November 2016 contributed to the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation.
Jandrokovic and Niinisto also talked about Romania's, Finland's and Croatia's preparations for the rotating presidency over the Council of the EU. (Hina)
