Croatian Parliament Speaker and Greek President discuss ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation

Zagreb - Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković and visiting Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos met on Tuesday to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in all areas of common interest.

They said that although relations between Croatia and Greece are very good and friendly, there is a need to intensify the exchange of visits at all levels and strengthen cooperation in all areas of common interest, particularly taking into account the fact that Croatia and Greece are Mediterranean countries.

Jandroković and Pavlopoulos, who has arrived for a two-day visit, also highlighted the importance of parliamentary cooperation, which is very good in multilateral and regional forums such as the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, and the desire for its further strengthening at the bilateral level.

Also discussed were current issues in the European Union, particularly its migration policy.
