Parliament Speaker extends best wishes to Jewish community on Rosh Hashanah

Zagreb - Croatian Parliament President Gordan Jandroković on Monday extended his best wishes to the Jewish faithful in Croatia for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

"Rosh Hashanah celebrates the beginning of the new year for the Jewish people and it is the time of personal contemplation ahead of the holiest day of the year - Yom Kippur. Let this time of spiritual renewal and preparations encourage even stronger commitment to your faith in which you will find peace, strength and inspiration of the new 5779 year," Jandroković said in his message.
